Salted Caramels

½ cup Karo Syrup – light

¼ cup melted butter

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

¼ tsp. salt

½ cup white sugar

½ cup brown sugar

 

Add all ingredients together into a glass bowl.  Microwave for 2 minutes, 3 times, stirring at each 2 minute interval. 

Pour in a pan lined with parchment paper.  Place in refrigerator and cut when cooled.  If you want salted caramels, salt before putting in refrigerator.
