White Hot Chocolate

2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

2 tsp cornstarch

3/4 cup white chocolate chips

1 Tbs. vanilla extract

1/8 tsp. coconut extract

Marshmallows, optional

 

In a large pot, whisk together milk, heavy cream and cornstarch until cornstarch is dissolved and milk is smooth; stir in chocolate chips.  Cook over medium-low heat, whisking until chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth and hot and slightly thickened; stir in extracts.  If desired, serve topped with marshmallows.  Makes 8 servings.
