Lady Locks

Full Recipe  

Dough:  
1 lb Oleo
1 tsp salt
4 cups flour
1 pt. sour cream      

Filling:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco
Beat 2 ingredients then add
1 cup sugar
fold in 1 stiff egg white
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup warm milk
Beat 10 minutes until creamy

Dough:
1/2 lb Oleo
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1/2 pint sour cream

Filling:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Crisco
Beat 2 ingredients then add
1/2 cup sugar
fold in 1/2 stiff egg white
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup warm milk
Beat 10 minutes until creamy

 

Mix and cream well.  Divide dough into 4 parts and put in well-floured plastic bags.  Refrigerate overnight.  Roll out dough on well-floured board.  Cut into strips.  Take strips and roll over foil-covered clothespins.  Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.  Remove from pin immediately, CAREFULLY.
