River's Edge Cabbage Soup

1 part V-8 juice

2-3 parts water

1 small head chopped cabbage

3-4 stalks chopped celery

1/2 small white onion, chopped

Black peppercorns

White peppercorns

Cayenne peppercorns

Tabasco sauce

 

Combine large bottle of V8 and water.  Mix until solution is almost a clear red color.  Add in chopped cabbage, celery, and onion.  Add in whole (unground) peppercorns (about a teaspoon of each type) and Tabasco sauce to likeness.  Can substitute ground pepper for peppercorns, but of course it will take more.  The spicier you want it, the more pepper you add.  Boil uncovered until cabbage is tender.
