 Full recipe

9 cups flour
1 lb margarine
7 eggs
2 Tbs vanilla
2 cups sugar
4 tsp baking powder 

 

1/2 recipe

4 1/2 cups flour
1/2 lb margarine
3 large, 1 small egg
1 Tbs vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder 

 

1/4 recipe

2 1/4 cups flour
1/4 lb margarine
1 large, 1 small egg
1/2 Tbs vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder

 

Mix flour and margarine by hand.  Beat eggs and vanilla well.  Add sugar and beat.  Add to dry mixture.  Might be best to mix by hand as the dough becomes very stiff.  Roll on a floured surface into shapes. 

 

Icing:  Powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, almond or anise.
