Monster Cookies

Yields: 132 Servings

 

9 cups rolled oats

4 tsp baking soda

2 cups white sugar

2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

1 cup butter

1 tsp vanilla

6 eggs

2 1/2 cups peanut butter

 

Optional "toppings"

semisweet chocolate chips

M&M's

peanuts

Heath pieces

Cherries

Etc.

 

Preheat oven to 350

 

Mix together oatmeal & baking soda. Set aside.

 

In a separate bowl, mix together white sugar, brown sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla, eggs, and peanut butter.

Combine the two mixes.  Split dough into sections.  Add "toppings" to the divided dough.

 

Wet your hands and roll into 1 inch balls (I used a 1in pastry scoop, like an ice cream scoop)

Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes.  You want cookies to not be too brown or they will become very hard after they cool.
